Seller Snap's integration with InventoryLab allows users to automatically pull cost (unit amounts) based on their First In, First Out (FIFO) system as well as min and max values from InventoryLab directly into Seller Snap 

Cost data will automatically sync and any cost data that was previously present within Seller Snap will be overridden by the values set in InventoryLab. If cost differs drastically from what is set in Seller Snap, the listing will be flagged for users to review.  

In order for Min and Max to be synced, sellers are required to enable Auto-Adjust in their store settings.

InventoryLab users have the ability to enable repricing for listings that do not currently have a Min or Max price and will ONLY start repricing once the cost has been pulled in and Min and Max have been calculated. 

Please Note: InventoryLab only sends cost data for listings that are deemed Active in InventoryLab. InventoryLab sends cost data to Seller Snap every six hours.

Instructions For Setting Up The Integration 

Please follow the below instructions in order to complete the integration. 

First, complete these steps from the InventoryLab dashboard:  

  1. Click your name and select Settings.
  2. Select Integrations from the menu on the left.
  3. Click the toggle for Seller Snap.
  4. Click Connect to confirm.
  5. Click the Got It button to complete the process.

Once complete, follow these steps to authorize InventoryLab within Seller Snap

  1. Navigate to the Store Settings then to the Integrations tab
  2. Select Configure on the InventoryLab synchronization-tile. 

3. Activate InventoryLab integration by switching the toggle from OFF to ON.

4. Click  Confirm to commence the integration.

Once the status on the synchronization tile is green and states 'on', the integration is live.

6. Finally, add the email addresses of any relevant team members who should be informed in the case of a synchronization issue. Then click Update to finish.

Min & Max Source

Users can use their min and max prices from InventoryLab. To do this users must first enable the InventoryLab integration and then select InventoryLab as the min & max source.

Through Store Settings, select Min & Max tab then activate Auto Adjust Min/Max

The pop-up that appears is explaining that activating this feature will automatically adjust the min and/or max.

Users can then select InventoryLab as their min and max source.

Once users have selected the source of the min & max values, users will need to click on Apply Changes.

A final note will pop up to let users choose whether to apply to all the current and future listings or apply it only to future listings.

  1. Apply to all listings -  set the new markup amounts for all listings on the store level. 
  2. Maintain current values - only adjust listings that do not currently have min and max prices set up

Monitoring The Integration

Users can be assured the sync is active by viewing the status bar at the bottom of the dashboard.
(This may not appear for a maximum of 6 hours after the first sync)
There are  two main reasons that an issue may occur during a routine sync:

1. Listing Requires User Action: 

Sync Blocked: Approve Updated Cost 

  • Seller Snap will block sync on a specific SKU if the new cost is too significant of a drop from the previously saved cost. The tool is designed to protect users from human error.

Sync Min Greater Than Max

  • Seller Snap will block a cost from updating if the sync would cause the Min price to be greater than the Max price. This can occur if users have Auto-Adjust active on Min Price, but deactivated on Max price. 

Users will need to manually amend both of these listings.

2. Active Listings Not Synced 

This alert occurs when a SKU is active within Seller Snap but has not successfully synced. This can be because of a potential delay in syncing. In most cases, this will automatically resolve itself after a period of 24 hours. 

Users may, however, want to manually amend these listings to avoid unexpected price changes.

Other Notification 

SKU Not Synced 24 Hours 

This alert occurs when a SKU has not synced in the last 24 hours. This can be because of two reasons: 

  • One, the cost was not included in the last InventoryLab report.
  • Two, the SKU is inactive in InventoryLab.

If users encounter these issues, they can review all the listings affected by using the filters tool and clicking on InventoryLab Alerts
